Ice Queen Photoshoot
Another photoshoot in my Fairy Tale Series, this time it was an Ice Queen Photoshoot theme. It was another great photoshoot, with both the model and makeup artist being brilliant on the day.
Luckily on the day the weather held out, it was touch and go right up to the morning of the photoshoot with the forecast being heavy rain. The rain stayed away for the shoot and started back up again whilst we were on our way home from the shoot.
The woodland setting turned out to be great shelter from a few of the rain showers we encountered on the shoot. So all turned out really well in the end.
The lovely Erika Hyde was the model for the Ice Queen Photoshoot. Erika was fantastic on the day. It was my first shoot with Erika and she did not disappoint, she was really easy to get on with and great at modelling.
We both worked really well together and Erika also worked really well with Jen the makeup Artist.
Erika had a really good idea of the styling for the Ice Queen theme and brought along her own dress and fur coat. Erika’s styling was great and helped make some great images.
Thanks so much for the styling and being a fantastic model on the day.
Jennifer Sanders was the makeup artist on the day. Jen was fantastic, she knew exactly what to do to give the makeup that icy feeling. As with Erika this was my first shoot with Jen and we got along great.
Jen got to work on the makeup and did a great job applying the makeup to Erika in the car park , despite all the interest from the ramblers and dog walkers. Jen used some sugar to give the effect of ice on Erika’s face and it looked great.
It was great to work with Jen, she is a really lovely person and is very creative in her work.. Thanks so much for your ideas and creativity to add the finishing touch to the images.
