FAIRY TALE PORTRAIT PHOTOHOOT
Following on from some of my recent photoshoots, I decided I wanted to continue shooting on location.I had an idea a couple of months ago where I wanted to make some of the location shoots a bit different and start to develop a theme and narrative to the photoshoots. This time it was a Fairy Tale Portrait photoshoot. The location was Sutton Park in Sutton Coldfield, Birmingham. Sutton Park is now becoming a great location for photoshoots.
The lovely Lottie Lea was the model on the day and was excited to be part of a Fairy Tale Portrait shoot. Not only is Lottie a great model but she is also a great photographer. Lottie was great on the day and really enthusiatic especially when climbing up some of the trees and balancing on tree trunks. You can check out more about Lottie Lea on her Portfolio Page. Thank you Lottie for such a great day 🙂
THEME & NARRATIVE
The shoot was a BOHO theme which I wanted to have a Fairytale narrative to. Lottie had a great white lace dress which fitted the theme perfectly. To accompany the dress I bought a flower headband off the internet. I took around 600 shots on the day and the three images on this blog are my favourites.
I enjoyed the Narrative so much that I have decided to start a personal project with the “Fairy Tale Portraits” narrative. I have not yet decided on a Title yet for the Fairy Tale Portrait project, but will soon find an appropriate title, so watch this space.
So here are some of the my favourite images matching the theme and narrative from the day. I have created a Gallery to house all my favourite Fairy Tale Portaits
